CAMO Engineer

Location: Oxford / Shawbury

Role Overview

We are seeking a CAMO Engineer to manage and produce maintenance programs, review airworthiness documentation, plan maintenance and materials, and update technical records. This role will be based across our Oxford and Shawbury sites.

Key Responsibilities

Airworthiness & Compliance

  • Review and assess technical information from regulatory authorities and OEMs, including Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, Major/Minor Modifications, and Repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations and company procedures.
  • Support Airworthiness Reviews and ARC Extensions.
  • Conduct repetitive defect and reliability analysis.

Maintenance & Planning

  • Develop, review, and implement Aircraft Maintenance Programs and related configurations.
  • Plan line and base maintenance activities.
  • Prepare and review maintenance variations.
  • Coordinate materials planning and raise purchase requisitions.

Technical Records & Documentation

  • Review technical logs and update aircraft utilization data.
  • Maintain aircraft and engine records with maintenance task details.
  • Ensure accurate return of component log cards for material management.
  • Continually improve CAMO processes & procedures for enhanced efficiency.

Cross-Functional Support

  • Provide support across the CAMO team.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to streamline airworthiness and maintenance operations.
  • Perform additional duties as required by the Continuing Airworthiness Manager or designated deputy.

Required Qualifications & Training

Essential:

  • Minimum 5 GCSEs (Grade C or above) or equivalent (e.g., NVQ, BTEC).

Desirable:

  • Aviation-related degree or equivalent.
  • Aviation Human Factors Training.
  • Recognized Part-CAMO Training Course.
  • Recognized Part-145 Training Course.
