BRIEF OVERVIEW

- Rate: Up to £50/hour inside IR35
- Working type: Hybrid working (3 days on-site, 2 days working from home)
Recruit 12 has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Systems Engineer to work with an innovative engineering business, with the goal to bring electric and sustainable technology to life.
You'll be designing and developing the electrical systems used in various products from on-highway vehicles through to off-highway, marine, and other types of vehicle.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Draft system and component-level requirements
- Collaborate with suppliers on project components and systems
- Assist in project assembly and troubleshooting
- Create system architecture diagrams and circuit drawings
- Contribute to hazard analysis and risk management as needed
- Support virtual and physical builds for components and vehicles
- Prepare and present reports for stakeholders
- Participate in technical and project reviews
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Experience with electrical integration or systems engineering in automotive or similar industries
- Good understanding of on-vehicle networks (CAN, LIN, etc)
- Requirements capture experience
DESIRABLE (NOT ESSENTIAL)
- Vector tools experience (such as CANalyzer)
- HV charging knowledge (either on-vehicle or off-vehicle)
- Functional Safety (ISO26262) understanding
- Degree in a relevant discipline
