The Role:

We are recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a leading precision engineering company. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. This role involves working closely with design, production, and quality teams to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions within the manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimise manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) and ensure smooth production transitions.
  • Provide technical support to resolve manufacturing challenges.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain and update process documentation and work instructions.
  • Lead process validation and testing to ensure product reliability.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Degree or HNC/HND in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • CNC Experience is essential
  • Experience in a manufacturing engineering role within precision engineering, aerospace, or similar environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Understanding of CNC machining, assembly processes, and tooling design.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems such as ISO 9001.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively across teams.
