Machine Operator

DC Personnel are recruiting for a Machine Operator for our client a specialist manufacturer in the Desford area of Leicestershire.

Hours: 7:30- 4:30 Monday to Thursday & 7:30-12:30 Friday. 39 hours per week

Pay: 12 per hour, salary 24,336 per annum

Full time Permanent role

Duties :

Operate and monitor machinery to produce parts or products
Conduct regular quality checks on output
Adjust machine settings to ensure proper functioning
Perform basic maintenance on machines as needed
Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times
Collaborate with the production team to meet targets and deadlines

Ideal candidate:

Mechanical knowledge to understand machine operation
Ability to fabricate parts using various tools and equipment
Proficiency in materials handling and storage procedures
Basic math's is required for measurements and calculations
Experience with mill operations for shaping materials
Knowledge of tooling techniques for machine setup and maintenance
Familiarity with CAD software for design purposes
Previous experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous
Proficient in using hand tools for assembly and repairs
