Stores Person

DC Personnel are recruiting for a Stores person for a specialist supplier and online retailer located in the Desford area of Leicestershire.

Full time permanent role

Salary : 24,336 per annum. 12 per hour

Hours : 7:30 - 4:30 Monday - Thursday & 7:30 - 12:30 Friday. 39 hours per week

Own transport is preferred due to location of site

You will be required to :

Operate and run the stores department
Check arrival dates, check items for damages and quantities
Maintain safe working practices in the stores and with a clean and tidy environment
Handle shipping and receiving processes accurately
Perform materials handling tasks including organising and storing items
Ability to lift heavy objects safely and efficiently
Quality inspection of goods
Report any discrepancies to the shop floor manager

Ideal candidate will have :

A stores background and have experience in stores or stores administration
Good communication skills
An eye for detail and numerical skills
Computer literate and familiar with Windows systems
Well organised and have a structured approach to your work
Able to work under pressure to deliver against deadlines
