Location: Thurleigh, Bedfordshire

Shift: Monday-Friday, day shift

Pay Rate: £15 p/h PAYE

Contract: Long term, Ongoing work

We are looking for experienced Tyre Fitters to join our client’s team in Thurleigh. The role offers the right candidate an excellent opportunity to work within one of the UK’s leading automotive companies, who have operations across the country.

The Role:

• Within this role you will be responsible for changing a range of tyres from different vehicles.
• Checking tyres replacing or repairing faulty tyres.
• Balancing and re-aligning wheels.
• Helping to prepare wheels for alloy wheel refurbishment.
• You will need to be experienced and comfortable in using the appropriate tools and be confident of working with all makes and model of vehicles and tyres.

What kind of person we are looking for?

• Previous experience as a Tyre Fitter.
• Able to carry out the work to a high standard.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to use own initiative and common sense.
• Must hold a full driving licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences.
• Must be able to work under own initiative as well as being a team player.
