We are currently looking for a Flexographic Screen Printer ideally with Flatbed Screen Printing experience.  You must have printing experience to be considered for this role.  The role of the Flexographic Screen Printer is based in Syston.  The Flexographic Screen Printer role is a full time role and for the right candidate the potential to go perm.  If you feel this is for you then please apply.

 

Pay Rate for the Flexographic Screen Printer:

  • £14.36 per hour

 

Hours:

  • 4 days a week
  • 7am to 5pm – Monday to Wednesday
  • 7am to 4.30pm - Thursday

 

As a Flexographic Screen Printer you will be responsible for:

 

The successful candidate must be able to produce high quality prints by operating flexographic, rotary screen and flatbed screen printing machinery.  The machines are web fed with a sheet or roll output. The successful candidate will have an eye for detail and be able to carry out thorough inspection of their printed work.

  • To produce print of a high quality in both colour and image
  • Operate print machinery without supervision
  • Manage screen and plate inventory
  • Manage ink stocks
  • To ensure that all batch records are completed correctly and are legible
  • Resolve problems on the press as they arise
  • The operation of machinery safely and properly, informing Management of any issues that will compromise the safety or efficiency of the machine(s)
  • To ensure that the workplace is always kept clean and tidy
  • Understand the requirements of the organisation’s Quality Assurance systems and take responsibility for all its obligations that relate to the role
  • Actively participate in lean/process improvement activities
  • To represent the Company image as being one of high integrity at all times when representing the Company both internally and externally and behave in a manner both on and off duty befitting the Company image and standards
  • To undertake training / personal development to enable competent performance of all relevant tasks

About You:

  • You would be expected to demonstrate effective problem-solving skills related to general printing tasks & machinery
  • You must be able to read, understand and complete quality documentation
  • You must be computer literate and be able to input data on a computer and complete quality system paperwork
  • Accuracy/attention to detail and be a team player
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and a pro-active approach
