About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Business Application Support Specialist to join a well-established organisation. This role involves supporting the implementation, management, and continuous improvement of core business applications while providing technical support and training to users at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with testing and implementation of software across the organisation.
  • Manage day-to-day system operations, including master data updates and user support.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, escalating to third parties where necessary.
  • Provide training and support to users to ensure effective use of applications.
  • Contribute to network security and ensure compliance with IT best practices.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and efficiency.

About You

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in a similar IT Supporting role.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office packages and BI tools.
  • Ability to manage and troubleshoot hardware, networks, and applications.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide training to users at all levels.
  • A valid UK driving license and business insurance on your vehicle.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, ITIL Processes, or a related field is desirable but not essential.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and work under pressure.
