Noble Recruiting are currently recruiting a confident and experienced Import Logistics Executive to join our friendly and proactive Client in Tilbury, Essex.

Due to the nature of our roles, candidates must be a UK Resident residing within the local area. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with various customers, suppliers, and subcontractors, including shipping lines, hauliers, and depots.
  • Raising internal files.
  • Preparing invoices.
  • Processing supplier invoices and addressing any discrepancies.
  • Monitoring vessel arrivals.
  • Organising collections and deliveries to ensure customer deadlines are met.
  • Following up after delivery to confirm customer satisfaction and explore further opportunities for service.

You will need:

  • A proven track record of at least two years working for a small to medium-sized freight forwarder.
  • Experience with CNS and Destin8. (Our forwarding software is multi-freight.)
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and a friendly personality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • A strong and dynamic team player.
  • Excellent mathematical and English skills.
  • Driver with own transport is desirable.
  • UK resident and the right to work in the UK.
