Are you a Custom Clearance Executive or similar, from a freight forwarding background, looking to join a well-established and successful Freight Forwarding company, that will provide in-house mentoring and progression, within a friendly tight knit team?

On offer is the opportunity to join a business that has been in operation for almost 50 years within the freight forwarding and logistics industry. Providing an outstanding service globally, with a huge overseas network of agents, ensuring extensive coverage worldwide and vast knowledge in all aspects of freight forwarding.

In this role you will be working in a team of 9, where you will be provided full training on processes and systems used. As part of a team, you will arrange import clearances for key clients, communicate with customers, suppliers, and sub-contractors for accurate customs processing, provide importing guidance, ensure compliance with AEO standards.

This role would suit a Custom Clearance Advisor or similar, from a freight forwarding background ready to take the next step in their career, to join a supportive and well-established business, providing training and progression.

The Role

• Arrange import clearances and ensure prompt processing for key clients.
• Communicate with customers, suppliers, and sub-contractors
• Provide guidance on importing goods, including commodity codes and procedures.
• Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm

The Person

• Custom Clearance Advisor or similar
• Road freight or Ocean Freight background
