Technical Support Engineer

Easy Tilbury

£26,000 - £30,000 DOE.

9am – 5pm Monday to Friday

Company Van given when required to be on site.

Duties include

  • Deal with any issues assigned by Technical Support Manager
  • Carry out onsite activities for support, installations and troubleshooting where it is not possible to be done remotely
  • Ensure support tickets and incidents are dealt with in a timely manner and within agreed SLA’s
  • Perform infrastructure / computer / server and software installations
  • Be part of the internal escalation
  • Perform routine maintenance and updates to systems
  • Participating in site work / projects when needed

Technical Skills:

  • Strong Microsoft Windows Server (2016, 2019 and 2022)
  • Active Directory, DNS, DHCP Administration
  • Experience with configuring and administering MS Office 365
  • SharePoint migrations and adoption
  • SQL Server Administration and troubleshooting
  • Windows 10 / 11 administration and troubleshooting, along with Windows 10 to 11 migrations
  • Antivirus (BitDefender)
  • Advanced Networking skills - Switch configuration, diagnosing faults, VLAN, VPN, RADIUS (UniFi experience is preferable)
  • Installation of new IT systems and equipment
  • Onsite experience – cable management, usage of tools, lifting equipment
  • Experience with PSA, RMM & Document Management tools (Preferably Autotask, Datto RMM, IT Glue)
