A1 Personnel are currently recruiting for a Security Specialist for a permanet contract on behalf of our client based in Tilbury.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential security risks in supply chain operations.
  • Develop strategies to mitigate theft, damage, or loss during transit and storage.
  • Create and implement policies and procedures to ensure secure logistics operations.
  • Establish standards for handling sensitive or high-value shipments.
  • Oversee the use of tracking systems for goods and vehicles.
  • Monitor shipments in real time to detect and respond to anomalies.
  • Investigate security breaches or losses and determine root causes.
  • Coordinate with law enforcement or regulatory bodies during incidents
  • Ensure operations comply with national and international security regulations.
  • Stay updated on security-related certifications and training requirements
  • Train staff on security measures and best practices.
  • Promote a culture of security awareness within the organization.
  • Use advanced tools tracking and security.
  • Monitoring reg statement of securyt systems (CCTV, Acces Control, Alarm systems)
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance logistics security.
  • Work with logistics teams, third-party providers, and security professionals to ensure seamless operations.
  • Liaise with clients to address their security concerns.

Requiremmets:

  • Knowledge of the security legislation and best practices
  • Experience in conduction training and audits
  • Previous experience in the field
  • Computer literate
  • Driving license
  • Flexibility to travel to other national and international sites

Hours:

Monday to Friday : 9am- 5pm
