Noble Recruiting are currently recruiting a confident and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our friendly and proactive Client in Tilbury, Essex to control and run their Night Shift, Monday to Friday's.

Due to the nature of our roles, candidates must be a UK Resident residing within the local area. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

Your responsibilities include:

You will be responsible for overseeing the night-shift warehouse performance and ensuring the smooth running of the operations and lead your team accordingly to ensure orders are picked and loaded to meet customer orders.

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the night shift in the Warehouse.
  • Achieve operational objectives and ensure KPI’s are met.
  • Manage and coach the team.
  • Promote and ensure compliance with our policies and procedures, including health and safety.
  • Implement and develop new initiatives ensuring best practice and processes are improved and followed.
  • Stock management and control.
  • Pick and load lorries with pallet orders.
  • Double check delivery & pick notes for your team.
  • Offer training & Support as necessary.
  • Ensure smooth and accurate despatch of all vehicles.
  • Promote positive communication with drivers / shift handovers.

You will need:

  • Confident and outgoing individual.
  • Valid & in-date Counterbalance Forklift Certificate.
  • Excellent people and operations management track record.
  • Confidence with the ability to take responsibility and make decisions in a pressurised environment.
  • Reliable individual with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly, respond positively to changing demands, embrace and implement new ideas.
  • Min. of 3 years warehousing supervisory experience.
  • Good time management skills.
  • UK resident and the right to work in the UK.
