Vehicle Technician
Location: Tilbury, Essex
Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:30
Pay Rate: £16 p/h (£33,280) PAYE, £18.56 p/h Umbrella
Contract: Long-term, Ongoing work
Igloo is on the lookout for Vehicle Technicians to join our client’s team in Tilbury. Our client is a global leader in the automotive industry, with operations across the globe.
The Role:
- Inspecting vehicles & diagnosing any required work.
- Repairing or replacing components as required such as, clutch changes & repairs, cambelt changes, brake system replacement & repairs and gearbox repairs & replacements.
- Road testing vehicles to test repair work.
- Fitting & servicing vehicle accessories, including alarms & stereos.
- Warranty recall work.
- Undertaking Services & maintenance checks, such as, oil changes & filter changes.
The Person:
- Must hold a recognised NVQ Level 3 qualification, such as light vehicle maintenance & repair.
- Must be able to demonstrate previous experience of working within a Vehicle Technician or PDI Technician role.
- Must be punctual, reliable, hardworking, be prepared to work as part of a team or under own esteem.
