Mechanically biased engineer required for an industry leading producer of construction materials who are recognised on an international basis for the quality of their products. They can offer ongoing job security and are offering a days-based position.
The successful candidate for this role will be a multiskilled engineer with a mechanical bias, experience mechanical fitters are also encouraged apply. Candidates from any industry are encouraged to apply, but you will need experience working with hydraulics, pneumatics, gears, pumps etc.
Working within a team of three per shift, you will be responsible for looking after production equipment and will carry out repairs to breakdowns and implementing corrective measures. You will also carry out PPMs and will support ongoing project and continuous improvement activities.
The Maintenance Engineer Role:
· Reactive and preventative maintenance
· Support installation / factory improvement activities
· Working with fixed plant machinery including conveyors
