Slinger - Cornwall
Construction - Civil engineering
£230 - 250 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.
Night shifts and weekend work available at time and a half: £345 - £375 per shift DOE.
This is a 12 week temporary contract.
A great opportunity to start a temporary Slinger role in North Cornwall. You will be working on a very unique project for a global civil engineering contractor.
Within a team of 3 you will handle the lifting operations of a civil engineering project.
Day to day:
- Working within a lifting team.
- Slinging loads of up to 1 ton.
- Taking apart, lifting and replacing parts of a bridge.
- Working at heights.
- Taking instruction from Crane supervisor.
- Site safety, helping to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Must have a CPCS or NPORS card.
- NVQ 2 Slinger Signaller.
- Must have previous experience in slinging.
- Must be experienced in infrastructure and civils projects.
- Must work well within a team.
- Must be comfortable to work at heights.
- Driving licence (Non essential but preferable due to job location)
- Professional at all times.
- Good work ethic.
- Good timekeeping.
