- Monthly reporting P & L / Cashflow/Balance sheet
- Management Accounts
- Liaising with auditors
- Payroll/Pensions & PAYE
- Credit Control/Invoicing
- Tax filing and payments
- Payment runs & Banking
- Foreign Currency purchases & contract management on those
- Overseeing SAGE system
- Statutory accounts preparation under FRS102 Section 1A and FRS105
- Preparation of corporation tax and submission of CT600's to the HMRC
- Experience in completing and submitting quarterly VAT returns
- Manage the continued functions of the current ledger clerk who is also there to help with credit control & purchase ledger
- Manage and action a complete stock-take for a large inventory
- Effectively manage time to ensure work is completed within agreed time
- At least 5+ years' experience working within the private sector in a similar capacity or experience of these roles within a UK based accountancy practice.
- ACA/ACCA - who is ideally part qualified, although candidates at other stages of qualification will be considered too.
- Current knowledge of statutory accounting, corporation/ and VAT.
- Experience managing a stock-take with both maximum efficiency and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills and adept and developing and maintaining strong working relationships.
