Job Description:

We are currently seeking 4 reliable and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerks to join a fast-paced finance team in Tipton. This is an immediate start, temporary role offering £13 per hour, with the possibility for the role to become permanent based on performance. Key Responsibilities:

- Process and record all incoming supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.

- Match purchase orders with invoices to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.

- Ensure all invoices are coded correctly to the appropriate cost centres.

- Handle supplier queries promptly and professionally.

- Assist with monthly reconciliation of supplier statements.

- Support the finance team with any ad-hoc tasks as required.

- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all purchase ledger activities.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a purchase ledger/accounts payable role.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.

- Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

- Proficient in using accounting software (experience with Sage or similar systems is desirable).

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

- Immediate availability to start is essential.
