The Role

We are looking for a results driven Business Development Manager to join our team at WICKE! In this role, you will utilize your skill set and experience to build strong relationships with New & Existing Customers whilst promoting our Wicke brand

Key Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities of a Business Development Manager include, but are not limited to:

  • A key account interested manager, who is looking for a long-term position in a stable Industrial Company with further development possible whilst selling industrial castors and wheels as well as system components with the knowledge of over 5 years’ experience in Sales
  • To expand the customer base towards the key customer areas we have in our strategic focus
  • Primary responsibility will be to increase sales within your area with existing and potential new accounts.
  • Involved in escalated customer service queries, debt management and contract negotiations

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a Business Development Manager are:

  • 5 years key account management experience
  • Manage administrative Sales, as well as face to face Sales
  • Strengthen existing Business Accounts from Wicke UK
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Attention to detail, able to research and profile clients
  • Tenacious, resilient and career minded
  • Business development experience with industrial OEM project work and bespoke articles
  • Ability to communicate and understand Customers’ needs and demands
  • Motivated, communicative responsibility and self-organised
