Role Overview:

Due to rapid expansion and over 750 own label and branded product offerings, our client has a new and exciting vacancy for a Sales Executive. Territory you will cover as a Sales Executive for our client is West Midlands, Manchester and London. As a sales executive you will be visiting your convenience store customers within your territory and carrying stock to then sell to your customers directly or take orders for manufacture on one of three sites in the West Midlands and overseeing the process of delivery ensuring customers get a high-quality service.

Role Duties:

  • Visiting convenience store customers within your territory.
  • Carrying stock to then sell to your customers directly or take orders for manufacture on one of three sites.
  • Driving sales in convenience outlets through building strong relationships with your key decision makers, store owners and shop assistants.
  • Increasing distribution of the range of products produced and manufactured by our client.
  • Using sales data to approach key decision makers to effectively engage and sell stock into store.
  • Negotiating space for products and siting our client's product ranges in key locations.
  • Gaining greater visibility, display, and availability in store for our portfolio of product ranges.

Position Requirements:

  • A passion for sales.
  • The ability to engage with customers and suppliers.
  • Business development skills or previous sales experience particularly in convenient store sales.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, & time management skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and analyse data.
  • Proven record of demonstrating initiative & delivering results.
  • Demonstrable commercial acumen.
  • Graphical knowledge of the territory.
  • Previous sales in a convenient store capacity or similar.
  • You must be eligible to work in the UK and have a full clean manual driving licence and use of a vehicle.
