- Business development with new and prospect clients
- Calling and visiting new clients.
- Dealing with all Incoming enquires, quotes and BD calls.
- Familiarise yourself with products and services offered by the company.
- Attend networking activities to research and connect with prospective clients.
- Maintain existing relationships with clients.
- Suggest upgrades or additional products and services that may be of interest to clients.
- Upselling/ following up on quotes.
- Service reviews with existing and new clients.
- Experience in Business Development in the manufacturing, engineering and/ or construction industry is beneficial but we can consider people with other industry backgrounds.
- Excellent communication written and oral.
- You are not required to have lots of experience on the costings side as this can be taught, although some experience would be advantageous.
- Outgoing personality, confident in selling and not shy to pick up the phone.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of the wider team, lots of cross over with other departments.
- Valid full UK driving license.
