Then this role could be for you. Our client design and fabricate high spec products for some really big companies in the UK. This role will involve travelling around to visit new clients with expenses paid for, therefore a valid UK driving license is essential for this position.Requirements for the Business Development Executive:Responsibilities of the Business Development Executive:
  •  Business development with new and prospect clients
  •  Calling and visiting new clients.
  •  Dealing with all Incoming enquires, quotes and BD calls.
  •  Familiarise yourself with products and services offered by the company.
  •  Attend networking activities to research and connect with prospective clients.
  •  Maintain existing relationships with clients.
  •  Suggest upgrades or additional products and services that may be of interest to clients.
  •  Upselling/ following up on quotes.
  •  Service reviews with existing and new clients.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
  • Experience in Business Development in the manufacturing, engineering and/ or construction industry is beneficial but we can consider people with other industry backgrounds.
  •  Excellent communication written and oral.
  •  You are not required to have lots of experience on the costings side as this can be taught, although some experience would be advantageous.
  • Outgoing personality, confident in selling and not shy to pick up the phone.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of the wider team, lots of cross over with other departments.
  •  Valid full UK driving license.
