CNC Turner required to join a leading manufacturer in the automotive industry specializing in high-quality bespoke alloy wheels. The successful candidate will join the manufacturing team and play a key role in the production of alloy wheels. As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for Programming, Setting up and Operating CNC lathes to produce precision components



CNC Turner Position Overview

  • Set up CNC lathes for production runs, including loading materials and selecting appropriate tooling.
  • Program CNC machines to produce alloy wheel components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Operate CNC lathes to machine alloy wheel components with high precision and efficiency.
  • Monitor machine performance, making necessary adjustments to ensure product quality.
  • Conduct regular inspections of machined components to verify conformance to design specifications.
  • Identify and address any deviations from quality standards, making adjustments as needed.
  • Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and tools to ensure optimal performance.
  • Replace or sharpen cutting tools as necessary to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Work closely with engineering and design teams to understand project requirements and specifications.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to troubleshoot and resolve any production issues.


CNC Turner Position Requirements

  • Proven experience as a CNC Turner, preferably in the manufacturing of precision components or automotive parts.
  • Programming experience is advantageous (preferably Siemens or Fanuc controls experience)
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of alloy materials and their machining characteristics is a plus.


CNC Turner Position Remuneration

  • Full time - Permanent position
  • Monday to Friday
  • 14 - 15 per hour (DOE)
  • Competitive holiday allowance
