- Develop detailed CAD drawings and models for casting projects.
- Project management to see designs through from cradle to grave.
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to refine designs.
- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and company guidelines.
- Revise and update designs based on feedback and project requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of all design work.
- Proven experience as a CAD Design Engineer, preferably in the metal casting or manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software (ideally SolidWorks).
- Experience with using 3D printing.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Competitive salary of £30,000 to £35,000 p/a DOE
