Job Title: Electrical Tester
Location: Birmigham and surrounding areas
We are presently recruiting for several Electrical Testers in the West Midlands areas for a well-established employer within the industry.
Basic Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 plus overtime
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out EICR evaluations for clients in social housing
- Repairing and replacing electrical fixtures
- Detecting and resolving electrical issues
- Executing tasks in compliance with Liberty’s policies on Equal Opportunities, Health and Safety, Customer Service, and Performance
- Some travel may be necessary
Could you be the ideal candidate?
- Expertise in all aspects of electrical work, including experience in testing and certification
- A full set of tools and preferably experience in a social housing environment
- Required qualifications include the latest BS7671 (18th edition), NVQ Level 3, and Testing and Inspection 2391 or an equivalent certification
- A valid driving license is crucial
- Own own van / tools etc - although this will play as an advantage to your application, it is not essential! Van can be provided
- Experience in inspection and testing, with the ability to complete EICR certifications; NAPIT and NICEIC accreditations are required, with no domestic restrictions on the certificates.
In addition, all properties require annual:
- FIRE detection
- Emergency lighting
Property sizes range from one-bedroom flats to 150-bed hostels.
