Role: Customs Clerk - Multimodal
Location: West Midlands
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000

- Responsible for completions of Customs Documentation from Start to Finish - Import & Export
- Confident on dealing with Multimodal Customs
- Liaising with shippers, hauliers, carriers. Ensuring all requirements are met in the timeframe set
- Understanding all customs documentation including specific custom related keywords
- Creating and maintaining strong relationship with clients, ensuring all inquries are dealt with
Requirements:
- 2+ years experience working with a leading freight forwarder
- Awareness of all aspects of customs process from Start to Finish
- Can collaborate with the customer to provide the best service available
- Able to reach all deadlines within the time constraints provided
- Confident and effective communication skills (verbal and via email), with the ability to build relationships with customers
