- Pay: Main Pay Scale 1 (MPS1)
- Duration: Permanent, starting September 2025
- School Type & Location: ‘Outstanding’ Humanities Department, Tipton
- Key Duties: Teach History at Key Stage 3 and 4, inspire students with engaging lessons, and work collaboratively with your ECT colleagues
- A degree in History and QTS (or be on track to achieve it by September 2025)
- A strong understanding of the Key Stage 3 and 4 History curriculum
- Effective classroom management skills and the ability to create engaging and interactive lessons
- A collaborative approach to teaching and planning, sharing ideas with fellow teachers
- A desire to continuously improve and develop professionally
- ECF-based training modules: Covering pedagogy, behaviour management, curriculum design, assessment, and professional conduct
- Assigned mentor: A dedicated and experienced teacher providing regular feedback, guidance, and one-on-one support
- Observation and feedback sessions: Structured classroom observations with detailed feedback from senior staff
- Personalised development plan: Targeted support based on your strengths and areas for growth
- Professional development opportunities: Workshops, seminars, and training sessions to enhance your teaching skills
