Our client, a prominent company in the water sector, is seeking an experienced Site Manager with a Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) to oversee civil infrastructure projects across various sites, with the main office located in Tipton. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead project execution on-site, ensuring quality, safety, and temporary works compliance within a collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise multiple sites within the Severn Trent region.
  • Manage and oversee temporary works planning, implementation, and compliance, ensuring they meet project requirements and safety standards.
  • Ensure all on-site activities align with project timelines, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain and manage project documentation, including temporary works designs and permits, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with site teams, contractors, and stakeholders, including Temporary Works Designers.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure work quality, compliance with plans, and adherence to temporary works requirements.
  • Prepare site reports and updates for senior management as required.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager within civil or construction projects, ideally in the water sector or on pipelines.
  • Temporary Works Coordinator certification and experience are essential.
  • SMSTS qualification is essential.
  • CSCS Black Card preferred.
  • Strong understanding of site management principles, temporary works regulations, safety standards, and construction practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage teams and liaise with stakeholders.
  • Competence in managing site documentation and tracking project progress.
