Our client, a leading manufacturer in Lightweight Roofing, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a permanent position in the Black Country area.
The role offers an annual salary ranging from £34,000 to £38,000 depending on experience.
Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in Mechanical Fitting or a similar environment.
The position involves sourcing and repairing machinery, fault finding, and performing planned preventative maintenance.
An NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical Maintenance is required, with additional electrical qualifications preferred but not essential.

Sourcing & repairing power presses, milling/turning machines
Help with upkeep of the building when required
Fault finding and problem solving
Planned preventative maintenance to minimise downtime
Keep an accurate log of all work carried out

Experience & Skills:

At least 5 years experience Mechanical Fitting or similar environment
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical Maintenance
17th or !8th Edition in Electrical skills preferred but not essential
Willing to learn new skills
Self-initiative
Strong communication in a team
