Summary:

The role will be based in our Tipton Officewith working hours of 9am to 5pm.

As Commercial Administrator, provide administrative support to Contract Managers and Senior Management Team to operate, co-ordinate, maintain and report on financial performance of contracts

A solid performer, you will be accustomed to deadline planning, change and bringing people together to work through challenges.

You will be required to carry out duties across a number of Contracts which include; South Staffs Water, Cambridge Water, National Grid, Severn Trent Water, West Midlands Combined Authority, along with a number of Special Projects with numerous other clients.

Specific Responsibilities/Tasks:

  • Reporting to the Commercial Management, promote a culture of consistent best practice, collaboration, and drive to succeed.
  • Work closely with other departments to effectively manage workload aligned to strategic targets.
  • Produce commercial data which feeds the Company Commercial activity
  • Assist with the production of all reports and applications for payment and provide general administrative support to the Commercial Team
  • Assist Contract Managers, Senior Management and Surveyors to operate, co-ordinate, maintain and report on financial matters relative to specific contracts
  • Assist in production of subcontractor payments and approvals, reporting and maintaining accurate records
  • Resolve payment discrepancies and outstanding balances, review Statement of Accounts on a weekly basis
  • Provide administrative support to the Commercial Team

  • Strong numerical and financial management skills
