The company are a leading established financial services organisation who offer a range of solution to suit all financial needs. There is current and future investment in a strategically important IT system implementation.

As a Delivery Manager you will lead the planning and delivery of change projects within the business. This role will lead the planning, control, risk management, and delivery of a strategically important IT new system implementation. There may also be some smaller project delivery in parallel. You will work directly with the IT supplier to ensure this project is delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities include: Delivery Manager

  • Lead project delivery through the whole lifecycle
  • Manage the project budget
  • Lead the assessment, reporting and control of project risks
  • Provide regular and on-demand reporting on project plans, progress, risks and issues
  • Work with internal teams and third party suppliers to deliver change efforts, including monitoring of delivery quality
  • Run procurement exercises for new or replacement services

Experience Required: Delivery Manager

  • 8+ years' experience within project management, delivery management, programme management or similar
  • Ideal experience within financial services
  • Prince 2 Practitioner or similar (demonstrable proficiency in project delivery using Prince II)
  • Experience with agile software delivery methods
  • Experience delivering change efforts
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; able to build professional relationships and lead people across the organisation
  • Highly organised and strong problem solving skills
  • Ideal experience of managing delivery capabilities in small organisations
