About the role:
As an Accounts Assistant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of accounting services for a diverse client base. This is a versatile role that offers exposure to a variety of tasks, giving you the chance to develop your expertise across different areas of accountancy.
What you will be doing:
- Assist in preparing year-end accounts and tax returns
- Handle bookkeeping, VAT returns, and CIS submissions
- Liaise with HMRC and assist clients with queries
- Work with a range of digital accounting software
What we are looking for:
- A detail-oriented, proactive individual with excellent communication skills
- Previous experience in an accountancy role is essential
- An individual who is comfortable working in a small team dynamic
Open to candidates who are:
- Non-qualified, AAT qualified, or AAT part-qualified
- A strong interest in progressing their career within a small, friendly practice
