Production Operative

Location: Exeter Outskirts, OWN TRANSPORT REQUIRED

Contract: Temporary / Seasonal

Shift: Monday to Friday, 06:00-14:30

gap personnel are currently seeking new team members to join the diverse, friendly, and passionate production team in our client’s site on the outskirts of Exeter. We have several Production Operative positions available with candidates being added to September inductions.

As a Production Operative, you will become a part of a busy team, you will be trained on duties of each separate production line until you become an all-rounder within the factory- through this, our client ensures high levels of efficiency, at the same time making your role more varied.

As a Production Operative, your role will include to: 

  • Work well within a team, playing an active part in team and business successes.
  • Engage with the daily challenges and opportunities and works effectively with others to overcome.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to H&S by working in a safe manner.
  • Escalate any hygiene or quality issues and ensure that any product below standards is identified and held and the issues are escalated appropriately, resolved, and released.
  • Understand and adheres to good manufacturing practices, company standards of hygiene, PPE, and dress code. Practice a 'Clean as You Go' approach, maintaining workplace organisation and visual management standards.
  • Duties to include Batching and Weighing of the products, Filling small bottles with products, Capping of the bottles, Labelling, Wrapping, Packing ready products into boxes.
