Kingston Barnes is pleased to be recruiting a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer in the Tiverton area on behalf of our client. Our client is an FMCG manufacturer owned by one of Europe’s largest farming companies.
The Role:  The successful Maintenance Engineer will work in the maintenance team to carry out routine maintenance on the plant and assets. Responsibilities include but aren’t limited to:
- Investigate, diagnose and resolve plant issues
- Pre-planned and reactive maintenance across the factory
- Complete daily checks on machinery
- Ensure product quality is not compromised during engineering activities
- Ensure all works are undertaken in line with H&S policies
- Attend continuous improvement meetings where required
- Keep the workshop area tidy and organised
This position is based on a panama shift pattern (12-hour shifts, 2 on 2 off, 3 on, 2 off)
About you: The successful engineer will have:
- A multi-skilled maintenance background with an electrical bias
- Ability to work well in a team
- A good communicator
- NVQ, ONC, HNC in a suitable engineering discipline
- FMCG/Manufacturing background
