You will be responsible for maintaining and improving the efficiency of production and manufacturing equipment ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

Day-to-day of the role:

Conduct routine maintenance and repair on manufacturing equipment and systems
Diagnose and repair electrical problems
Assist with the installation of new equipment and systems, ensuring they meet operational requirements and standards.
Provide technical support and training to other team members and departments where necessary.
Work closely with the production team to identify areas for efficiency improvements and implement changes to enhance performance.
Respond quickly to any emergencies or breakdowns to minimise downtime.
Keep accurate records of maintenance work, inspections, and repairs for compliance and analysis purposes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Recognised qualification in electrical engineering (HNC, HND, NVQ, BTEC, or equivalent).
Proven experience as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, preferably within an FMCG environment.
Strong understanding of electrical systems and fault-finding techniques.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Flexibility to work on a shift basis, including nights and weekends when required.
