My client is a fast-growing BRC accredited Food manufacturer who is now seeking a Production manager in a newly created position to join their management team. 聽This is a Monday to Friday Day based role. 聽Pivotal to the role is an excellent understanding of production in a fast-paced environment. 聽As a member of the senior management team, the Production Manager is responsible for the Planning & day-to-day production within the factory to obtain maximum efficiency, production, quality service and profitability for the organization. 聽This is an excellent opportunity to make your mark in a role and offers longer term development opportunities as the company grows.
Production Manager Key responsibilities:
路Planning of Daily and weekly / Seasonal Production
路Driving Continuous Improvement - Identify continuous improvement opportunities across the production and warehouse area.
路Ensuring site KPIs are achieved.
路Promote food safety and quality standards in everything they do as priority.
路Ensure the department is audit compliant at all times.
路Promoting and engaging in cross departmental teamwork
Production Manager Experience/ Skills Required:
路Experience working within a Food/Drink /FMCG Manufacturing environment.
路Must be organised and happy to work under pressure.
路Must have an understanding or working within a BRC led environment.
路Must have previous Managerial/ Supervisory experience.
路Must enjoy being hands on and enjoy training and developing people.
路Excellent people skills including coaching and developing staff.
路H&S knowledge and experience
路Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement Techniques
