As the Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the company’s capabilities and expanding its client base, working closely with project teams to ensure exceptional project delivery.
Duties
- Responsible for optimising business growth
- Identify, source and target new sales opportunities
- Managing and maintaining existing client base
- Building strong client relationships
- Lead the preparation and delivery of sales presentations, proposals and bid submissions.
- Manage and maintain relationships with an existing client base while building strong, lasting partnerships
- Lead the preparation and delivery of impactful sales presentations, proposals, and bid submissions
- Collaborate closely with project teams to align client expectations and project outcomes.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, adapting strategies to meet or exceed targets.
- Utilize strong expertise in sales, marketing, and digital platforms to strengthen the company’s market presence
What you will need
- Proven experience as a Business Development Manager within the construction industry
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead teams effectively
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- A dynamic, results-driven approach to business development
- In-depth understanding of construction processes and the ability to discuss technical details with clients and colleagues
- Demonstrated expertise in sales and marketing strategies, including digital platforms and social media
- A passion for the construction industry and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
