You will be responsible for maintaining and improving the efficiency of production and manufacturing equipment ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

Day-to-day of the role:
- Conduct routine maintenance and repair on manufacturing equipment and systems
- Diagnose and repair electrical problems
- Assist with the installation of new equipment and systems, ensuring they meet operational requirements and standards.
- Provide technical support and training to other team members and departments where necessary.
- Work closely with the production team to identify areas for efficiency improvements and implement changes to enhance performance.
- Respond quickly to any emergencies or breakdowns to minimise downtime.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance work, inspections, and repairs for compliance and analysis purposes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Recognised qualification in electrical engineering (HNC, HND, NVQ, BTEC, or equivalent).
- Proven experience as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, preferably within an FMCG environment.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and fault-finding techniques.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work on a shift basis, including nights and weekends when required.
