SYSTEMS TEST ENGINEER

TIVERTON, DEVON

£45,000 + Enhanced Holiday + PMI + DIS + Training

Due to the securing of new contracts and an increase in overall business performance, my client are looking to add to established team with a Test Engineer. The client are a global leader in its field and have some really impressive clients.

We are looking for an experienced individual, who has a good understanding of electrical principles and the ability to read and understand schematics.

THE ROLE:

  • Providing day to day production support for manufacturing and product testing processes.
  • Supporting the handover of New Product Developments into production, working to ensure efficient on time release of new products focusing on final product test and sub-assembly build testing.
  • Creation of product and test documentation, including test plans, generation and presentation of test reports, etc.
  • Definition and development of test equipment and instrumentation, data capture, processing and analysis.
  • Creation of detailed solutions to test rig hardware requirements (hardware design).
  • Ensure most cost effective manufacturing processes are considered when introducing new products and design changes.

THE PERSON:

  • Good understanding of electronic principles and logic circuits.
  • Ability to read and understand schematics.
  • Good electronic fault finding skills.
  • Experience with PCB design and associated software applications.
  • Experience with Instrumentation devices and calibration.
