Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical)

Carlisle

£18.90 Per hour (£39,312) + Overtime Opportunities Available paid at 1.5x, over 6 hours or a Sunday paid at 2x + 31 Days Holiday + Pension + Life Assurance + Product Discount Scheme and Cash Back Schemes + Workwear provided + Course Funded Training Available as well as on the job training + Annual Tool Allowance up to £120 per annum.

Monday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am, Fridays 8pm to 3am. 

Maintenance Engineer required for a well-established manufacturer. This is a great opportunity to work in a team that can offer dedicated training on their machinery and varied production areas.

This is a great opportunity to join a personable team, and where there is a very low turnover in staff on site.

The Maintenance Engineer Role:

  •          Split between PPM (Nights Bias) and Reactive Maintenance (Days Bias).
  •          Mechanical working on pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, gears, bearings, pipework and steam systems (Experience of all the above is not required as training can be provided).
  •          Updating maintenance system and handing over to the following shift team.
  •          Working as part of a mixed team of electrical and mechanical engineers.
  •          Working on varied production lines, including mill machinery, biomass and treatment plant.

The Successful Maintenance Engineer:

  •          You will have previous experience as a Mechanical engineer within an industrial environment or similar.
  •          Any Mechanical qualifications will be advantageous
