Headley have a live vacancy with a manufacturing company in Todmorden seeking an experienced Product Designer.
With a focus on providing retail display solutions, the company design manufacture and install a range of market leading products and are continually exploring new products and markets.
Key Duties of the job to include:
- Creation of quality and detailed visuals for client approval
- Production of technical, manufacturing drawings, specifications, BOMs
- Liaising with sub-contract partners and suppliers as necessary
- Working with other internal departments (Sales, Production etc.) to ensure projects and products progressing according to schedule
- Client contact and site visits / surveys as necessary
Experience required
- Solidworks experience
- Design for manufacture and aware of techniques / materials used in manufacture from wood, plastic, metal
- Ideally experience of designing products for the retail sector
- Attention to detail and able to work to deadlines, under pressure and in a collaborative way.
- Good attitude to work, committed, dedicated and reliable.
