Contract Scotland are currently recruiting for an experienced Clerk of Works / Construction Manager to support a major infrastructure project based in Inverness, as part of critical railway bridge works.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in rail, piling, and craning operations to take on a key role, working in close collaboration with principal contractors on site.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 6:00pm

Weekend / Holiday Work: Available at enhanced rates
What You’ll Be Doing:

Act as the on-site client representative, interfacing daily with the main contractor

Oversee compliance with safety, technical and quality standards
-
Coordinate with the client’s Construction Manager and provide daily reporting
-
Monitor progress and support resolution of on-site issues as they arise
What We’re Looking For:
-
Experience in railway construction is highly desirable
-
Proven track record with piling and craning activities
-
Hold valid PTS and/or COSS certification
-
Strong site management or Clerk of Works background

Someone based in the Inverness area preferred.
