We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dedicated Tax Accountant / Associate to join an esteemed law firm and support their expanding Private client team.This full-service law firm prides itself on consistently providing exceptional outcomes for individual and business clients. With a team of approximately 143 staff members, including a substantial private client department, the firm offers a collaborative and supportive working environment.Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Tax Manager in handling tax, trust, and estate accounts.
  • Prepare tax returns and provide tax planning advice.
  • Offer tailored advice to high-net-worth families and trusts.
  • Manage tax compliance for affluent individuals, families, and trusts.
  • Prepare Capital Gains Tax calculations on property transactions.
  • Complete estate tax returns.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • AAT qualified.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in tax-related roles.
  • Experience in providing support to fee earners on estate tax returns and tax queries.
  • Ability to assist with estate accounts as needed.
Salary and Benefits:
  • Generous Salary and Discretionary bonus.
  • Working hours: 9:00 am - 5:15 pm with a 1.15-hour lunch break.
