Reed Business Support have exclusively partnered with a leading organisation who, due to growth, are looking to expand their sales team with a Sales Account Manager.
Key Responsibilities for the Sales Account Manager role:
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships with key accounts.
- Understand the specific needs and objectives of your accounts and work closely with internal teams to ensure we meet and exceed those goals.
- Regularly review account performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to increase account growth and satisfaction.
- Act as the main point of contact for your accounts, addressing any issues and concerns promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify opportunities for new product offerings or enhancements to existing products.
- Prepare and present regular reports on account status, including progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and potential threats to your accounts; adjust strategies accordingly.
- Participate in client meetings, industry conferences, and events to represent our company and foster strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Requirements for the Sales Account Manager role:
- Proven work experience of at least 3 years as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, or relevant role.
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
- Experience with CRM software and account management systems.
- Strong listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Solid experience with MS Office (particularly MS Excel); experience with sales performance metrics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
