Reed Accountancy & Finance are currently seeking a dedicated Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our client’s team in Paddock Wood on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone who is immediately available and can commit to a full-time schedule within a dynamic office environment.

Accounts Receivable Clerk Day to Day of the Role:
  • Managing incoming payments and ensuring accuracy in the accounts receivable ledger.
  • Generating and sending out invoices to clients.
  • Following up on outstanding payments and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Communicating with clients to clarify payment details and terms.
  • Processing credit memos and adjustments.
  • Preparing bank deposits and reconciling accounts.
  • Maintaining records and reports related to accounts receivable.
Accounts Receivable Clerk Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in an Accounts Receivable role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be within commutable distance to Paddock Wood.
