Reed Accountancy & Finance are seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper to join our team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone who is immediately available and can commit to a full-time office based role. Reed Accountancy & Finance Day-to-day of the role:
  • Maintain financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
  • Manage bank feeds and reconciliations.
  • Prepare financial reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising account information.
  • Handle monthly payroll duties and prepare VAT returns.
  • Work closely with the accounting team to create and analyse financial reports, ensuring legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices and tax payments.
  • Utilise accounting software to streamline processes and enhance financial reporting accuracy.
Reed Accountancy & Finance Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper.
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping practices and principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
