DELIVERY VAN DRIVER

MONDAY - FRIDAY: 06.00 OR 13.00 START TIMES

£12.05 PER HOUR

Day to Day Duties

• You will be the face of the business in the local area
• Your day will start with you and your delivery crew mate spending time ensuring you have everything needed for the day ahead
• Delivering furniture to homes across the local areas
• Working flexible hours to deliver outstanding levels of service
• Using a hand-held computer device to act as a routing system and obtain customer signatures for deliveries
• Completing daily vehicle checks to ensure the safety of your vehicle & load

Essential Skills

• A full UK Category B Driving Licence
• No more than six points for client's insurance purposes
• Good time keeping
• A professional appearance and attitude
• Confident when dealing with people
• The ability to work equally well as part of a team and on your own initiative
• Must be reasonably physically fit as lifting and carrying involved

Desirable Experience

• Experience in a similar delivery role would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given

Training

• Training on the PDA scanners, manual handling and routing systems will be provided
