Sonic Summary

IDrive Recruitment is seeking experienced Class 1 and Class 2 HGV Drivers for positions throughout Kent, with both day and night shifts available from Monday to Sunday.
Candidates must possess a clean full UK or EU Driving Licence (with no more than 6 points), a Drivers Qualification Card (CPC), and a Drivers Tachograph Card, along with verifiable references.
The role requires confident drivers with experience operating Class 1 or Class 2 vehicles and the ability to perform pre and post-operation inspections.
Pay rates for HGV Class 1 drivers are £17 per hour for days and £18 for nights under PAYE, and £21 for days and £22 for nights under UMBRELLA; for HGV Class 2, rates are £16 for days and £17 for nights under PAYE, and £20 for days and £21 for nights under UMBRELLA.
Candidates are expected to follow safety policies, report safety issues, and interact confidently with dispatchers to ensure high-quality job completion.

We are currently seeking experienced Class 1 and Class 2 HGV Drivers to fill positions throughout Kent. A range of jobs are available with both day and night shift options from Monday - Sunday.

You will need:

Clean full UKor EU Driving Licence (no more than 6 points)
Drivers Qualification Card (CPC)
Drivers Tachograph Card
Verifiable references
Reliable and a good time keeper
Experience of operating a Class 1 or Class 2 vehicle in a safe manner

Expectations:

Confident Class 1 or Class 2 driver
Able to perform a complete pre and post operation inspection of the vehicle as required by company policy checking tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges and controls are in good working order.
Able to report any safety issues on standard reports
Able to follow instructions and the delivery schedule and confident to interact with dispatchers to complete the job to a high standard
Follow all required safety policies and procedures

UMBRELLA Days 21 & Nights 22

PAYE Days 16 & Night 17
