Hiring: Hospitality Chef Assessor – Professional Cookery  A leading apprenticeship training provider is looking for a Hospitality Chef Assessor to join their team! This is an exciting opportunity for an industry professional to shape the future of hospitality by supporting the next generation of chefs and hospitality leaders. The Role:The hospitality industry is evolving, and this role offers the chance to be at the heart of that change. The successful candidate will work with learners at their place of work, delivering apprenticeship standards for some of the UK’s best-loved hospitality brands. Key responsibilities include:? Supporting learners in achieving their Professional Cookery or Hospitality qualifications.? Providing guidance, motivation, and coaching to help apprentices succeed.? Assisting learners with Maths and English if needed.? Managing administrative tasks related to apprenticeship delivery.? Enjoying a better work-life balance – no late finishes or weekend working! What’s Required?The ideal candidate will have recent professional experience at a management level within the hospitality and culinary sectors, along with:?? Skills in fresh food preparation (e.g., dough, bread, pastry, soups, stocks, and sauces).?? Front-of-house expertise including hosting, food & beverage, and bar operations.?? Strong team leadership experience in both BOH and FOH environments.?? Ability to work in high-demand environments with targets and deadlines.?? Excellent communication and self-motivation skills. Desirable but Not Essential:? NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery or Commis Chef Level 2? BTEC Level 3 Hospitality Management?
