A genuinely exciting Area Sales Manager/Business Development Manager position has arisen with this well established, leading manufacturer of street lighting and road safety products. They are looking for an experienced sales professional with experience of selling to local authorities and contractors to join their team. If this role sounds of interest, please apply ASAP!

LOCATION: You will cover London and the Southeast as a territory and will ideally live with close proximity to the M25. You will work from home when you are not out visiting clients.

SALARY: 55k to 80k as a basic salary (depending on experience) with performance related bonuses, giving another 10k on top. You will receive a fully expensed company car, fuel card, pension and 20 days annual leave.

You will be selling a wide range of street lighting solutions including lighting columns, aluminium lighting columns and decorative lighting to London Boroughs, Local Authorities and the contractors associated with them.

As Area Sales Manager/Business Development Manager you will inherit an account base of local authority and contractor accounts to manage. You will be tasked with hunting for new projects within these accounts as well as expanding on the product range and increasing spend with each account. You will manage your own diary, book your appointments and typically spend 4 days a week out on the road and 1 day a week working from home

Successful candidates will have a minimum of 2 years field sales experience and ideally you will have knowledge and experience selling street lighting.
