Sales Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
- Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly.
- Analyse and evaluate the effectiveness of sales methods, costs, and results.
- Manage and lead a team of sales staff, providing training and support as needed.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met while upholding the company's standards.
- Monitor customer preferences to determine the focus of sales efforts.
- Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar leadership role in sales.
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate and drive a sales team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in managing and analysing sales statistics and translating results into better solutions.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- The ideal candidate will need to show experience obtained from a similar role, be in commutable distance to our client in Tonbridge, be required to work full-time in our office, and be available to start work immediately.
